Threads ban on "Twitter"!

Threads, which was opened on July 6 as a competitor to Twitter, achieved a significant success by reaching more than 100 million users in a week. Therefore, the competition between both platforms is increasing day by day. Accordingly, it turned out that Twitter has imposed a new restriction on Threads. Threads links are blocked in search results.

"Threads" ban from Twitter

Reportedly, it has been discovered that Twitter has put a new barrier in search results for Threads. So there is no result for ''url:threads.net'' on Twitter. For those who don't know, after this search, the links in Threads and shared on Twitter should be listed.

Elon Musk and Twitter have not yet shared a statement on the subject. However, let us remind you that the new platform was harshly criticized by Elon Musk, who bought Twitter. So much so that Musk threatened to take legal action against Meta. Therefore, it is highly likely that the new move was deliberate.

As you know, Twitter, which was bought by Elon Musk, has recently received harsh criticism due to the restrictions that negatively affect the user experience. In this context, Threads, which is available for iOS and Android, continues to attract intense interest since its release. Compared to this success, it seems unlikely that Threads will replace Twitter anytime soon. However, it is certain that it will cause stiff competition.
