Instagram's new super like feature will be used in Stories. Users will be able to send a Super Like by pressing and holding the heart-shaped like button in a story. However, there will be a limit; only one super like can be given within 24 hours.
Instagram introduced the Stories feature in 2016, allowing users to share posts to be published on the platform for 24 hours. It added a like button to increase engagement with Stories and reduce DM traffic. For those who want to keep Stories for a longer period of time, the Highlights feature was introduced. This allows users to pin Stories to their Instagram profile page. Stories can be shared with everyone or close friends, but Instagram will also give users the option to create a private list.
It is unclear when Instagram will roll out the Super Like feature.
