Samsung Sensor OLED panel features

Samsung Display, one of the leading companies in mobile OLED display technologies, announced the world's first OLED panel with built-in fingerprint and cardiovascular tracking technologies, and will exhibit it at SID Display Week 2023. The Sensor OLED panel has built-in light sensing OPD. This means that the manufacturer will not need to put a separate fingerprint reader under the OLED panel.

Since each pixel of the new Sensor OLED panel has light sensing technology built-in, it can capture fingerprint or heart rate information from multiple fingers at the same time. This allows the device to perform more accurate biometric authentication, measure blood pressure. The new OLED panel can simultaneously measure the user's stress level.
