Samsung will hold this year's second Galaxy Unpacked event on 10 July. At this event, Galaxy Z Flip 6 & Fold 6, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7 and new foldable phones are expected to be introduced.

According to current reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will appear in a more compact structure while remaining faithful to the design of its predecessor. This means sharper corners and a square appearance. Moreover, it is on the agenda that Samsung will introduce a thinner hinge mechanism while maintaining the IPX8 water resistance rating.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a 6.7-inch foldable screen on the front. This screen, which will be supported by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, is likely to offer FHD + resolution and 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. The cover section will have a 3.4-inch AMOLED panel as in the previous model. However, this time it is expected to offer 120Hz refresh rate. At the center of the phone, we will encounter the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB/12GB RAM.

Leaks point to a 4,000mAh battery capacity compared to the 3,700mAh found in the Z Flip 5. As for the camera department, it has been confirmed that there will be a switch from the 12MP sensor found in the Z Flip 5 to the new 50MP primary sensor. This could provide a significant improvement in image quality, especially in low light conditions. The secondary ultra-wide camera and selfie camera are expected to remain the same.

When will the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 be introduced?

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is likely to come with Android 14 and Samsung's One UI 6.1.1 software. It's also expected to retain stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in July. We also expect to see the Galaxy Watch 7 series, the new Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Ring at the Unpacked event.
