The countdown has officially begun for Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy S25 series will be unveiled. With numerous reports so far, there are few surprises left regarding what to expect. The latest leak, from a trusted source, provides comprehensive insights into the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s features .

 

What Does Galaxy S25 Ultra Offer?

According to Roland Quandt, the Galaxy S25 Ultra features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. The panel will support variable refresh rates, peak brightness of 2,600 nits, and HDR10+. The design builds on its predecessor.

Its dimensions are 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm, and it weighs just 219 grams, making it slightly taller, narrower, thinner, and lighter compared to the 232-gram Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The S25 Ultra will ship with Android 15-based One UI 7.0. Storage and RAM configurations include 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it supports 45W wired and 25W wireless charging, representing a 10W improvement in wireless charging.

 

Galaxy S25 Release Date

According to leaked promotional images, the Galaxy S25 series will be unveiled on January 22, 2025. A fourth device, likely the Galaxy S25 Slim , is also confirmed.
