Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra`s screen surpasses iPhone 14 Pro Max

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra`s screen surpasses iPhone 14 Pro Max

Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 phones under the Galaxy S23 series. These phones, where improved software, increased camera performance and user experience are emphasized more, are also very successful with their screens. According to a recent claim, the screen of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is not only one of the best on the market, but also extremely successful in energy consumption. In fact, the latest report states that the S23 Ultra's screen consumes less energy than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Samsung already supplies AMOLED screens to manufacturers in the phone market, and Apple is one of them. However, it seems that Samsung has followed a different path in choosing materials when making its own AMOLED screen. According to the reports, the S23 Ultra uses a unique set of OLED materials that we have not seen before. It is stated that this is not a simple "M11" and "M12" material classification. According to the analysis, more efficiency has been achieved by optimizing the wavelengths of RGB in S23 Ultra.

Compared to M12-based panels like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the Galaxy S23 Ultra's display consumes less energy at the same brightness level. In the meantime, let's also mention that the screen of the S23 Ultra is larger than the phones used in comparison. Considering all these factors, we can say that Samsung has raised the bar a little more when it comes to screen. Although there is no major hardware upgrade on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, when these minor upgrades are combined with optimized software, a higher level of user experience is achieved.
