The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A16 4G prices have been announced. The pricing will remain similar to last year’s models. Here are the details…
As you may know, the Samsung Galaxy A series is among the most popular Android mid-range devices. Now, Samsung is preparing to announce the budget-friendly Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A16 4G models. These phones, which will replace last year’s Galaxy A15, have previously appeared in the Geekbench and FCC databases. Recently, the prices for Galaxy A16 5G and A16 4G have been revealed.
According to leaks from retail channels, the newest member of the Galaxy A series, Galaxy A16 4G, will be priced at €209.90, while Galaxy A16 5G will cost €239. Both prices include 128 GB storage, but the amount of RAM remains unclear. To compare, last year’s Galaxy A15 5G was sold for $260 (€234), and Galaxy A15 4G was sold for $205 (€184).
For those who missed it, Galaxy A16 will retain last year’s design but come with slightly thinner screen bezels. However, the thick bottom chin is expected to remain. The phone is expected to feature a plastic body, a notched display, and color options in Midnight Black, Light Green, and Gray.
According to past reports, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G will come with a 6-year operating system update support. It will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity U display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits brightness.
Powered by either the Exynos 1330 or MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the device will offer up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It is expected to ship with Android 14 out of the box. On the other hand, not much is known about Galaxy A16 4G, but it may share similar features with Galaxy A15 and A15 5G, except for the chipset.
