Speeding up its update support, Samsung is preparing to roll out the One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15. As usual, the new version is expected to launch first on the latest Galaxy S models, with initial access provided to beta users. Recently, Samsung revealed the release date for the One UI 7.0 beta.
As noted, the stable version of One UI 7.0 is expected to launch next year with the Galaxy S25 series. The beta version was previously scheduled for release by the end of 2024. According to well-known leaker ICE Universe, the One UI 7.0 Beta will be available after November 17 in South Korea and the U.S..
Devices compatible with the One UI 7.0 beta include Galaxy S24, S23, S22, S21, Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6, Z Fold 5 & Flip 5, Z Fold 4 & Flip 4, Galaxy A55, A54, and A35 models.
With One UI 7.0, Samsung is expected to bring various advancements to both the interface and AI capabilities. This includes smoother animations, a redesigned two-page Quick Panel, an improved camera app for better one-handed usability, and new icons for some core apps.
Additionally, users can expect a new charging animation, lock screen animations, fresh widgets for both the home screen and lock screen, support for large folders on the home screen, and an updated battery icon with enhanced background blur. With these improvements, Samsung aims to make the user experience more intuitive and functional.
Samsung has not yet shared the Android 15 update schedule, but it's known that devices will receive four major Android updates. This means even three-year-old models will receive the update. The refreshed version will be available on over 50 devices from the Galaxy S, Galaxy A/F, M, Galaxy Z, and Galaxy Tab series.
