The first information about the iPhone 15 Pro has arrived!

Although the iPhone 14 series has just been launched, eyes are already on the next iPhone series, which will go on sale in September 2023. TrendForce's recent report offers important information about the features that the iPhone 15 Pro will have.

Annoying CPU application will continue

The report predicts that only the two Pro versions will use the A17 chip, which will offer better performance, while Apple's "non-Pro" models will continue to offer the A16 chip with a slight improvement. In other words, the company plans to continue this strategy, which was put into practice with the iPhone 14 and does not seem to satisfy consumers.

TrendForce claims that in addition to the A17 processor, the iPhone 15 Pro models will come with 8 GB of RAM compared to the 6 GB on the iPhone 14 Pros. On non-Pro devices, we can expect 6 GB of RAM to be protected.

USB-C port is coming

Apple will comply with the European Union's uniform charging input law on its new smartphones. The company will switch to USB-C by shelving the Lightning connector with the iPhone 15. The giant from Cupertino has already stepped up the gear recently and moved many devices in its product range to USB-C.

Periscope camera and 8-element lens

The research company's estimation is that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will include a telephoto lens with periscope functionality that will provide 10x or more optical zoom. For better camera performance, Pro versions are expected to include an updated main lens in "8P" design with an additional optical element.

5G will again be provided by Qualcomm

The iPhone 15 will still come with a modem supplied by Qualcomm, but will this modem be the same as the iPhone 14? The report cannot confirm this, but what is certain is that Apple's own modem is not ready yet.
