Sony celebrated the 30th anniversary of PlayStation with special, limited edition PS5 consoles and accessories. A design inspired by the first PlayStation console released in 1994.
Following the PS5 Pro console, Sony unveiled limited edition consoles and accessories to celebrate PlayStation's 30th anniversary. The 30th anniversary PlayStation 5 Pro and PS 5 digital edition feature a retro design inspired by the first PlayStation console launched in December 1994.
As the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection: Includes a digital version of PS5, the newly announced PS5 Pro, DualSense, DualSense Edge controller, disc drive cover and PlayStation Portal. Both consoles and accessories feature the iconic grey colour and multicoloured PS logo. The devices also feature an embossed 30th anniversary logo. Sony is offering the original controller-style cable receptacle, a sticker, a limited edition PlayStation poster, four PlayStation-shaped cable ties and a paperclip.
As the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition with 1TB SSD will be available on 21 November, along with the PlayStation 5 Pro Console and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition with 1TB SSD, which comes with a 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7 compatibility and various accessories including a DualSense arm and limited edition poster. Sony said they will sell 12,300 units of the special 30th anniversary PlayStation 5 Pro console. The number represents the month and day the first PlayStation console was released.
