OpenAI is developing a new AI system codenamed "Operator"

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently highlighted in a Reddit Q&A that agent systems will soon bring a significant breakthrough.

As AI labs seek ways to commercialize and sustain their high-cost models, Operator and similar innovative agent systems are expected to be a "revolution" on the scale of ChatGPT. These tools are envisioned as AI systems that perform tasks on behalf of users. The next step in this technology will be "AIs working for you."
