One UI 7 update is coming soon to Galaxy S series devices
Samsung announced on its press page that the One UI 7 beta program has been successfully completed, and the stable version will be released soon.
The company revealed that more users participated in the One UI 7.0 beta program than in previous versions, forcing them to close registrations twice as fast. Samsung stated that it gathered user feedback and plans to implement changes and improvements before rolling out the stable One UI 7.0 update.
The One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series was launched in early December last year. Beta versions were available to users in India, China, Poland, South Korea, Germany, the UK, and the USA. Over the past month and a half, three beta updates were released for Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Samsung reported that the beta program progressed twice as fast as the One UI 6 beta.
According to Samsung, the redesigned interface, Now Bar for quick access to live information streams, and Galaxy AI enhancements, particularly the new writing assistant tool, were highly praised by beta participants.
The Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra will be the first phones to feature One UI 7. Starting in February, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 are expected to receive the update. The One UI 7 update schedule may be announced during the Unpacked event.
