New M4 MacBook Air Introduced: Features and Price of 2025 MacBook Air

Apple has officially unveiled the M4 MacBook Air, combining high performance with an ultra-thin and lightweight design. The price and pre-order date for the MacBook Air M4 have also been announced.

The M4-powered MacBook Air features up to 18 hours of battery life, a 12MP Center Stage camera, 16GB RAM (base model), support for two external displays, and macOS Sequoia with Apple Intelligence AI capabilities.

How Powerful is the M4 MacBook Air?

Apple claims that the M4 chip, featuring a 10-core CPU, up to 10-core GPU, and up to 32GB unified memory, is twice as fast as the M1 model. Compared to the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air, the M4 model is up to 23 times faster.

Thanks to the Neural Engine, AI-driven tasks like photo enhancement and background noise removal in videos are significantly accelerated. Programs like Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and iMovie perform much faster than on previous M1 and Intel-based models. Web browsing is also up to 60% faster compared to laptops with Intel Core Ultra 7 processors.
