New iPadOS 18 update for Apple M4 iPad Pro

New iPadOS 18 update for Apple M4 iPad Pro

Apple gave the iPadOS 18 update along with iOS 18 earlier this week. However, the new iPadOS version rendered some M4 iPad Pros unusable. Fortunately, the update that fixes the problem is on its way.

Apple acknowledged the bug affecting M4 iPad Pro models after updating to iPadOS 18. Apple said a small number of users were affected and caused iPads not to turn on. In this context, it is rumoured that a special update will come to iPad Pro with M4 processor.

Apple is working on a fix, but there's no word on when it will be available to users. For now, those who have not yet updated their iPad M4 will have to stay on iPadOS 17. Apple recommends updaters reset the device, but users say they can't restore the software of the iPad Pro M4, which shut down during the update, even with a computer.

iPadOS 18 brings Calculator to iPads. The new iPadOS version brings a new look for app icons, lock and hide apps, a new Control Centre, a revamped Photos app, new Messages features, game mode, new Safari features, and a separate Passwords app. The update can be installed on iPad mini 5th generation and newer models.
