Finally, Twitter removed the iconic bird logo in the mobile application and updated the application with the new X logo. The change was first implemented in the Android app. Twitter iOS app will also be updated soon.

The application list in the Google Play Store has been updated to reflect the new brand that Musk has implemented, along with screenshots of the application with a black background and the X logo. The app's description states, "App X, the trusted digital city center for everyone." and the details include the statement that users can upload up to 3 hours of video, which is associated with the Twitter Blue support page.

The Twitter Lite app, last updated in May 2021, is still under the Twitter brand. On the web, all accounts linked to @Twitter have the username @X.
