Lenovo owned Motorola introduced two new foldable phones: Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. Initially released for the Chinese market, both devices are quite different from each other. While the Ultra model is a more premium product, the base model is equipped with features that appeal to the mid-range. Motorola Razr 40 Ultra comes with a 6.79 inch pOLED display. The screen, which has a perforated notch design, offers FHD + resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 1,400 nits peak brightness and HDR10 + support. The Razr 40 Ultra joins the caravan of clamshell foldable phones with a large secondary display on the rear panel. The 3.6-inch pOLED display has a 144Hz refresh rate. These details make it unique in its field.
On the camera side, it is equipped with a 12MP main sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front camera of the phone is 32 MP. In terms of audio, the foldable phone is equipped with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. When we go inside the phone, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 welcomes us. This chip is backed by up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The battery of the phone, which comes with stock Android 13, is a 3800mAh battery with 30W wired and 5W wireless charging support. Obviously, considering the hardware and screen size, this battery size causes question marks.
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button and IP52 splash-proof rating, 5G, WiFi-6E, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C port and NFC.
