New mock-up images showing the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro design were shared online. So how do Apple's new phones look? Here is the possible design of iPhone 16 and 16 Pro...

Apple is preparing to introduce the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models next September, as it does every year. In this context, while the excited wait continues, it has become clear what the iPhone 16 series will offer. Finally, new mock-up images showing the design of the iPhone 16 were leaked.

For those who missed it, it is rumoured that the camera and key layout will change in iPhone 16 models. In this context, while the general design language remains the same, the diagonal camera placement in standard versions will end. This means that the rear camera sensors will be aligned vertically, just like the iPhone X and iPhone 12.

In the shared images, iPhone 16 is shown in white, black, blue, green and pink, compared to the pale colours of last year's iPhone 15. The phone's back cover also has a glossy finish, which is where we can see the rumoured new Capture button. Designed to be mechanical rather than tactile, it will allow swipe gestures for zooming.

On the other hand, we cannot see the front of the phone in the mock-up images. However, it is rumoured that Apple will increase the screen size. We will also encounter the Action button that will gradually disable the mute button on all iPhone 16 and 16 Pro models. At this point, the base iPhone 16 will launch with a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and still limited at 60 Hz. But it could have thinner screen bezels as an upgrade.

Apart from that, all four iPhone 16 models - iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max - are expected to launch with the Apple A18 chipset. At this stage, Pro models will get the A18 Pro version, while vanilla will get the basic A18 chipset. Apple is also expected to offer a 3,561 mAh battery inside the iPhone 16, which is 6% larger than the cell in the iPhone 15.
