Google may release its affordable Pixel 9a model in the first quarter of next year. Many of its features have already surfaced before the official launch.
According to Android Headlines, Pixel 9a will come with a larger 6.3-inch OLED display than its predecessor. Powered by Google’s Tensor G4 processor, the phone will offer 8 GB RAM and storage options of 128 GB and 256 GB.
The primary camera is expected to feature the 48 MP Sony IMX787 sensor, previously used in the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Additionally, the phone will include a 13 MP ultra-wide camera and a 13 MP selfie camera.
Leaks also suggest that Pixel 9a will come with a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 18 W wired and 7.5 W wireless charging. Measuring 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm and weighing 186 grams, the phone is expected to be priced similarly to its predecessor at $499. The Pixel 9a is anticipated to be unveiled in March 2025.
