Huawei's triple foldable phone, which attracted all the attention, collected 6.26 million pre-orders in just 10 days. The first batch production of the device will be approximately 1 million units.

Huawei recently introduced the Mate XT, an innovative smartphone with two hinges and a triple fold. Pre-orders for the device started to be taken on 7 September. Chinese media reports that a total of 6.26 million reservations were received for the foldable phone within 10 days.

Of course, this does not mean that everyone who pre-orders will definitely buy the product, some of them will probably give up. Nevertheless, the interest of the Chinese people in the device is quite great. According to sources in the supply chain, the first batch production of the innovative model will be about 1 million units.

The price will hurt your pocket

Huawei Mate XT will go on sale on 20 September, the same day as the iPhone 16 series. The tri-fold device's selling price in China starts at around 19,999 yuan ($2,820).
