Honor introduced the folding phone Magic Vs and Honor 80 series after the MagicOS 7.0 update at the event held in China. Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 come with 160MP main camera, Qualcomm processor and curved OLED screen; Honor 80 SE, the most affordable entry-level model, has Dimensity 900 and 64MP main camera. Honor 80 Pro has a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with 2700x1224 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate. In the part where the pill notch is, there is a 50MP selfie camera and a 2MP depth module. In the flat model, the screen resolution drops to 2400x1080; Again, we're looking at a slightly smaller curved OLED display. The punch-hole notch houses a single 32MP selfie camera. The Honor 80 Pro comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor but is underclocked. On the camera side, Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 share the same camera (160 megapixels). Honor brings a revamped image engine with improved scene optimizations, skin texture detection and improved AI RAW algorithms. There is also the artificial intelligence Vlog mode, which allows creators to have more advanced control over their videos. While the Honor 80 Pro has a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor; The flat model has an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth module. Both phones are powered by a 4800mAh battery that supports 66w wired fast charging.
The new Honor phones will go on sale on December 9.
