Google has created a program that will compete with "Whatsapp"!

Having recently expanded the end-to-end encryption feature of Google Messages, Google continues its efforts to increase the user experience. In this context, the next feature to be added to the application has also been announced. Images were shared by a Reddit user today showing that Google Messages will have "Profile" support.

Google Messages gets 'Profileing' feature

Reportedly, the "Profile Creation" feature that will be added to the new Google Messages will be similar to WhatsApp and Telegram applications. Thus, users will be able to create their own profiles and upload profile photos using their e-mail addresses. In addition, Google will allow users in group chats to identify other users more easily. The shared images confirm that the Profile feature will be added to the Settings of Google Messages. In this section, users will be presented with additional options, including privacy options such as "public, contacts", "Profile Sharing" and profile notifications.

It is not known when the feature, which is currently in the testing phase, will be available. However, it may appear in a future Beta version. Apparently, Google plans to make its flagship messaging app more competitive against Whatsapp and Telegram.
