The new project, introduced as Google MusicLM, includes an artificial intelligence that can compose impressive music based on text inputs. Unlike the OpenAI Jukebox and Google AudioLM projects, the Google MusicLM project is able to produce an astonishing variety and depth of music in Hi-Fi quality thanks to its database trained with approximately 280 thousand hours of music. The project, which successfully blends musical genres and instruments, can also include abstract concepts. For example, she can decorate her dance and reggaeton mix with tunes from space or other worlds. Or it can turn a whisper, a whistle or a picture depiction into a melody. Again, in story mode, it can analyze different inputs to reveal a DJ set.

However, it is stated that technology can still produce sounds or intonations that are very unrelated to the inputs of some compositions. For now, Google has not yet made the MusicLM technology available due to copyright concerns. It is stated that the resulting tones can be inspired by existing musical works.
