With the development of screen technologies, smartphone manufacturers have started to turn to foldable models. Among these names, Google will soon launch its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold. Today, famous leaker OnLeaks has shared new render images showing the design of the upcoming smartphone.

The design of the Google Pixel Fold has been revealed

According to reports, the Google Pixel Fold will have dimensions of approximately 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7 mm and a flexible display that folds in. However, the new phone, which will come with a significantly wider and shorter design than its rival Galaxy Z Fold 4, will be presented to users with a 7.69-inch main screen and a 5.79-inch cover screen. As you can see in the accompanying images, the back of the Google Pixel Fold has a camera island similar to the Pixel 7 Pro but without protruding from the sides. In this section, there are three camera sensors, an LED flash and a microphone. We can also say that the new device has a remarkable frame thickness.

OnLeaks did not share any further details about the Pixel Fold's hardware. However, it seems likely that the upcoming foldable phone will receive support from Google's Tensor G2 platform. The Google Pixel Fold is expected to be introduced in May of next year with a price tag of $ 1,799.
