Good news for Xiaomi Mi 10 users: Android 13 update is ready

Announcing the Android 13-based MIUI 14 version last December, Xiaomi started to deliver the new version to old flagships and mid-range devices. The Chinese giant, which recently confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 series will receive an update, has now announced that the update is ready.

Android 13 update is ready for Xiaomi Mi 13 series

In a statement made today, Zhang Guoquan, director of mobile phone software department of Xiaomi, announced that the MIUI 14 update for the Mi 10 series is almost ready and the build tests will start from next week. Therefore, we can say that the company will share the update very soon. MIUI 14 for the Mi 10 series will be the third major MIUI update. In this context, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Ultra, which were introduced with the Android 10 operating system, will switch to Android 13 version. It is not yet known whether the latest MUI update will upgrade the Android version for the Mi 10 Lite.

Based on Android 13, MIUI 14 comes with many visual changes and features in addition to the new Photon Engine that will increase system efficiency. In this context, it should be noted that it will bring important battery and performance improvements for the Mi 10 series.
