WhatsApp is currently testing new features to meet the evolving needs of its global user base, and with the latest WhatsApp beta 24.3.10.70 update for iOS, it has been revealed that the company is currently testing a new feature that allows users to set favourite contacts for a more convenient search placement.

As seen in the screenshot above, WhatsApp is testing a new feature for a future update of the app that will allow users to select their favourite contacts. Favourite contacts will appear at the top of searches, allowing users to quickly search for their favourite contacts directly from the search tab.
