Samsung shared high-quality promotional images showing the design details of its smart ring, Galaxy Ring. Additionally, the health features of Galaxy Ring were announced.

Samsung showed the Galaxy Ring very short at the event where it introduced the Galaxy S24 smartphone in January. The South Korean technology giant will exhibit the smart ring for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​which starts today. The senior executive shared a few features of Samsung Galaxy Ring.

Samsung's newest wearable, the Galaxy Ring, will come with health tracking features such as heart rate and sleep monitoring, and will also give users a score that shows their readiness for the day. Equipped with sensors, the ring will give measurements on heart rate, respiratory rate, number of movements during sleep and the time it takes for the person to fall asleep in bed. Additionally, the ring will give the wearer a vitality score (from data collected on physical and mental readiness) to see how productive they can be. This data can be accessed through the Samsung Health application.

Samsung also said that they are considering adding a feature to Galaxy Ring that will allow contactless payments like on smartphones.
