At the recent Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models. The wait is coming to an end very soon.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE is coming soon

Today, Samsung announced in a press release that it will introduce a new Galaxy device on October 21st. While the device's name has not yet been confirmed, it's highly likely to be the long-rumored Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. As the name suggests, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will be a slimmer version of the recently released Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will offer significant upgrades beyond the design. It is rumored that Samsung is considering using titanium in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, specifically for the device’s rear panel. The camera system is also expected to undergo a slight revision.

Another important upgrade is likely to be in the hinge area, with reports suggesting that the crease in the fold will be less noticeable compared to the standard Z Fold 6.

According to earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will be 10 mm thick when closed and 5.6 mm when opened, featuring a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch foldable main display. The downside is that the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition may be difficult to obtain. Current reports indicate that the phone is expected to be a limited edition, mainly available in Korea and China. However, all details will be revealed at the event on October 21st.
