When searching for specific places like restaurants or tourist attractions, ChatGPT provides results with images, ratings, and opening hours. Clicking on a location reveals more details and allows direct access to a map with navigation directions from within the app.

OpenAI states that it has partnered with leading news and data providers for the search functionality. Consequently, information like stock prices , sports scores, and weather updates are displayed in widget form. This development positions ChatGPT as a comprehensive Google alternative.
