Black theme coming to WhatsApp

WhatsApp is testing a new interface that will catch the attention of users who love the dark theme. If you enjoy using apps with true black colors, this update will definitely please you.

WhatsApp is preparing to introduce a new theme option for users who prefer dark themes. This new interface is currently being tested on Android devices, especially for those who use the solid black theme on OLED displays.

According to the shared screenshots, compared to WhatsApp's current dark mode, the new interface will be much darker and feature more pronounced black tones, making user interface elements stand out more clearly. For example, the green button used to start a new chat and the Meta AI logo will appear sharper than in the current design.

WhatsApp is internally testing the AMOLED black color theme. It’s not yet known when this new black design will be available to all WhatsApp users.
