Bad news for those waiting for the iPhone 15

Apple's launch of the iPhone 15 series may be delayed by "a few weeks", according to Wamsi Mohan, global securities analyst at Bank of America. Therefore, if the allegations are true, the iPhone 15 series may miss the usual timeframe in September. Mohan had previously correctly predicted that the iPhone 12 series would be delayed.

iPhone 15 series may be delayed to October

According to the estimation of the analyst, who examines Apple's supply chains, the iPhone 15 series may miss the traditional September launch and delay into October. The analyst states that with the effect of the delay, Apple's third quarter revenues may also decrease or be below expectations. According to the analyst, Apple states that Apple will sell 48 million iPhones in the third quarter, which is three million below expectations. However, Mohan did not elaborate on why Apple will delay the introduction of the iPhone 15 series.

Apple announced he iPhone 14 series on September 7 last year, followed by the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max on September 16. The iPhone 14 Plus was released on October 7 due to production disruptions. Apple introduced the iPhone 13 series on September 24. The iPhone 12 series was released on October 23, as correctly predicted by Mohan. If Mohan is right about the iPhone 15 delay, we can expect other supply chain sources to confirm it before long.
