Some of the companies we mentioned above, worried about stopping in this uncertainty environment, announced that they would not advertise on Twitter for a while. Audi and food company General Mills were the last companies to announce that they stopped their Twitter ads. Some time ago, General Motors decided to stop Twitter ads. The number of these companies and advertisers continues to increase. Because the manager of a large advertising agency has stated that about 20 of his customers have temporarily stopped their Twitter spending. So much so that the recent uncertain structure of Twitter, which is already a platform with ups and downs, does not make it attractive in the eyes of advertisers compared to platforms such as Google and Meta.
