Asus announces a 17-inch foldable OLED monitor

Asus announced a foldable OLED monitor at CES 2024. The 17.3-inch monitor looks ideal for users who are constantly travelling and need a large screen for productivity.

The monitor, which almost does not fold when unfolded, has water drop-shaped hinges similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. The monitor, which has a thickness of 9.7 mm when unfolded, is quite light with a weight of 1.17 kg.

ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH foldable monitor has an OLED panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels. The monitor covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It also meets the DisplayHDR True Black 500 specification. This means the monitor has deep blacks and rich colours.

On the connectivity front, the monitor features two USB-C ports and a Mini HDMI port. The monitor also features a tripod hole. Asus has not yet announced the price of the monitor or when it will be available.
