Apple to launch a cheaper version of the pocket-burning Vision Pro

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman shared his views on the future of Apple's recently introduced Vision Pro. According to the veteran journalist, the Cupertino company plans to release a more affordable version of the mixed reality glasses by the end of 2025. Although the Apple Vision Pro makes a big noise, it is not expected to reach high sales figures. The reason for this is the pocket-burning price tag of $3,500. The company will naturally "cut down" some features in order to reduce the price of the model it will release in two years.

How can Apple lower the price?

Gurman believes the more affordable version could be called the Apple Vision, or perhaps the Apple Vision One. To reduce the cost, the glasses can be equipped with a weaker processor. We may also see a lower resolution solution instead of 4K micro-OLED displays on the device.

The company's 3D camera and spatial audio technologies may also be compromised. Adding a simpler headband and reducing the number of sensors to all of this, it is stated that Apple can manage to reduce the price by a few hundred dollars.
