The iPhone 15 series will come with a braided USB-C charging cable that is 50% longer than the Lightning cable that comes with current iPhone models. This report comes after rumors that new iPhone models could come with a very long charging cable.

How will the iPhone 15 USB-C charging cable be?

It was recently revealed that Apple will use a braided USB-C to USB-C cable that matches the color of the device on the iPhone 15 models. In fact, the new notification screen, which shows that the iPhone can detect which charging cable is plugged in, has been mocked on social media. Now, it has been revealed that the braided USB-C cable that will come out of the iPhone 15 box will be 1.5 meters long and much more durable. The Lightning cable that comes with current iPhone models is very flimsy and only 1 meter long and white is standard. The braided cables are expected to come in different colors such as black, white, yellow, blue, orange, reflecting the new color options of the iPhone 15.
