700 people will be laid off at Apple

According to the report submitted by Apple to the California government, 58 per cent of an office in Santa Clara will be laid off. On the other hand, 120 engineers working in the San Diego office to improve the way the Siri assistant responds to the user and improve its accuracy will be laid off.
