Although the return of the battery percentage with iOS 16 made many users happy, the design of the battery icon was the subject of serious criticism. Contrary to expectations, the icon did not change its image according to the battery percentage and remained static until the charge reached 20%. After the situation was ridiculed on social media, Apple took up the situation. Users who tested the beta of iOS 16.1 encountered the new battery icon of the operating system. The new icon changes dynamically according to the battery percentage. Although the new battery indicator is in beta for now, it will meet with the general user with the release of iOS 16.1.
