Apple does not produce students` favorite "Macbook"!

In 2015, Apple introduced the 12-inch MacBook as a more affordable and more portable product. Although the product was an attractive product especially for students, the thin and small structure of the device caused heating problems. In addition, the only USB-C port that does not support Thunderbolt connection caused the device to receive criticism. For these reasons, Apple had to cancel the 12-inch MacBook model in 2019. However, the company's switch to ARM architecture and the energy efficiency of the M1 processor revived the 12-inch MacBook dream for many fans. However, it seems that Apple does not intend to bring this product back.

The energy efficiency of the M1 and M2 processors enabled Apple to produce the fanless MacBook Air. Although the slim build and problem-free nature of these products made the 12-inch MacBook possible, Apple seems to have given up on it. Mark Gurman, known for his sources close to Apple, stated that the company has removed the 12-inch MacBook from its plans. Apple probably doesn't want to invest in R&D again on a product it has recently canceled. Also, the highly portable MacBook Air makes the 12-inch MacBook unnecessary for many.
