With many new features and improvements, MIUI 14 also comes with smaller dimensions and performance gains. As part of the event, Xiaomi also announced the first group of smartphones that will receive the new update. In a statement, Xiaomi announced that the upcoming MIUI 14 update will be available for the Xiaomi 12 series, Redmi K50 series and the latest Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 models in February. The list of devices that will receive the update is as follows:

Xiaomi 12S Ultra

As it is known, the Redmi K50 and Redmi K40 series are offered to users under the POCO brand in various regions, including our country. However, Xiaomi has not yet announced the update plan for POCO devices. If we talk about the update itself, MIUI 14 comes with fewer system applications and an improved system architecture. Thus, the Mi AI voice assistant, which has gained the ability to scan documents, translations and filtering, will offer more customization options with a new widget format, home screen folders and Super icons. In addition, the technology giant announced that data privacy operations will now be performed locally on the device. This data is no longer stored in the cloud.
