Jack Dorsey, who left Twitter with the arrival of Elon Musk, has been working on his own social network since May 2022. Bluesky, which draws attention with its similarity to Twitter, was first opened to iPhone users, everyone can download it, but not everyone can become a member. To join the new social network, users must receive an invitation from someone who is already a member.
Bluesky's official site does not offer many details about the social network. Only users are allowed to join waiting lists to get an invitation code. Bluesky, a simplified version of Twitter, is based on the AT protocol in the background. AT is similar to ActivityPub, the protocol that powers Mastodon, another social network that is quite similar to Twitter in some ways.
